Happy Belated Birthday Nigel!

Here's wishing a very happy birthday (although it's one day late) to Nigel from all of us (that Grace he's holding by the way; a much smaller Grace).

Three days with Auntie Tay-Tay

This past Sunday to Wednesday Taylor came down from Kingston to spend a few days of real quality time with the girls and I. I loved having her company and help, especially since Adam was away in Florida. Taylor was also our first official houseguest and she and I learned a lot about each other. Specifically, after helping me take care of two 10 month olds for 3 days she is not having children until she is "really really old, like, 30" (her words) and Matthew McConnaughy is the cutest (even though he's really really really old);) Here are some of the photo highlights.

Happy Birthday Auntie Stac!

Sunday July 30th was my sister's 25th birthday! We had a BBQ for her. Here are a few pictures. Grace is with Great Auntie and Hannah is with Cousin Nigel. Stac was really happy even though you can't tell from this picture.

A Visit from Crazy Uncle Brook

Saturday morning we had waffles with Brook. He really liked the foam puzzle! That's Grace with the block hat on for any of you who need to see hair to know for sure.

We miss you Daddy!

Adam left this morning for Florida. This is the first business trip that he has been on since before the girls were born. They just want him to know how much they miss him already.

A finished house - finally!

Here is a photo of our finished house. Specifically, we now have grass, a driveway, porch railings and everything is painted. It was worth the wait!

My Apologies

I apologize to all you faithful blogwatchers out there who have been wondering if we fell off the face of the planet. We are still here, but we switched computers and it has taken a while to get back into the swing of things. Anyway, here is a picture to hold you.

Just a crazy picture of Hannah

Becoming a Trio

Learning to play the piano with Mommy is part of the daily routine in the Perrin house (we're at the 'random banging of keys' level right now).

Canada Day Cottage Getaway

Happy Birthday Canada! To celebrate this Canada Day Adam and I went up to Ben's cottage overnight sans babies. My Mom ("Grandma") watched the girls for us and Monty had a sleepover at Popi's house. Thanks to all our various "sitters" for the night away.

We would also like to take this opportunity to wish my Mom a very Happy Birthday tomorrow (July 4th)!

Hands Down Our Favourite Photo! (well, so far)

Grace Can Stand!!!

Grace can now pull herself to standing! Oh no!

More Teeth on the Way

Hannah is finally getting teeth (two bottom ones) and Grace is getting two top ones to go with her bottom ones.

Welcome Andrew Laurin

For those of you who watch our blog and are friends with Ryan and Brenda we are pleased to announce that they are now (as of Saturday, June 24th) parents to a beautiful baby boy! We have linked their blog to ours so click the LaurinFamily link on the right side of our blog to see photos and get all the details.

First Father's Day

First off, I have to apologize to Adam because after Mother's Day I had pictures on here really fast and I've been a little tardy on the Father's Day pictures. Sorry Adam.

Fiscal Responsibility

Today the girls took their first step toward being fiscally responsible members of society. They opened bank accounts! (and then they chewed their debit cards).

A Long Overdue Visit

This past Monday the girls and I went to visit Naomi who was up visiting her parents in Oshawa. I had never met little Ben and she had never met Hannah and Grace. It was a shorter visit than I would have liked due to tired babies, but sweet none the less.

Daddy's Birthday Present!

Here are Hannah and Grace proudly displaying the Miffy t-shirt that they got their Daddy for his birthday. For those of you who don't know who Miffy is... she's a little clayanimation bunny from the Netherlands. She's cute and has a really catchy theme song which Adam sings constantly and consequently so does everyone he works with whether they've seen the show or not. Don't take my word for it. Get in the know by checking out Miffy's website; www.miffy.com (but don't listen to the song unless you want to sing it for the rest of your life).

Baby Therapy

Here's your daily dose of "Baby Therapy" (a phrase I've stolen from Deb). Hannah (SITTING BY HERSELF!!) and wearing a "big girl" barette in her hair. What happened to my babies?!!

FREEDOM!!!!!!

The Perrin Girls are on the move. If you're looking for us we will be the navy blue blur driving by you in our new (new to us that is) Mazda MPV. So feel free to invite us out because we can come now. YEAH!

30th Birthday Bash

Last night was Adam's 30th Birthday Bash. A good time was had by all (even those of you who can't remember)! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Grace the Monkey!

Just a crazy picture of Grace.

Candle Party

Thanks to everyone who came to my Candle Party on Tuesday. I really enjoyed the adult conversation!!

This will brighten a rainy day!

Two little orange creamsicles!!

CURBS!!!!!

I know what you're thinking, what's so exciting about some chunks of cement? To us they mean a driveway and some grass in the near future, so "Yeah Curbs!"

Mother's Day Gift

This is the rose bush that the girls gave me for Mother's Day. I'll plant it as soon as we have our grading done. Now the girls never have to worry about Mother's Day, they can just pick me a flower off of the bush!

1st Mother's Day

Happy First Mother's Day to me!!

DRPOMBA

Adam and I are members of an association for Parents of Multiple Births (DRPOMBA) and they had their Spring sale on Sunday. The girls got this car with a moving street scene on it. So far they've collectively run over 4 ambulances, numerous pedestrians, and 2 dogs. I think driver's Ed might be in order.

Sunny Days

Computer Literate

"Kids are becoming computer literate younger and younger these days".

Favourite Games

Grace's favourite game is jumping of any kind (on your legs, in the jolly jumper, etc.). Hannah's favourite game is playing Peek A Boo when I am folding the laundry.

Roll Over, Roll Over

The girls have finally rolled from their back to their front. OH NO!
